Small arms there will be assembled from foreign components.
The plant will first produce ammunition and later the small arms, Head of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus Raman Halouchanka reported on the state-run channel Belarus-1.
In Belarus is already assembling small arms, but from foreign components. According to Raman Halouchanka, “development of” own production technologies is underway.
Earlier, Raman Halouchanka served as ambassador of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates.
During a recent visit to the firing ground near Ivatsevichi, Lukashenka said that the development of the Belarusian defense industry envisages the creation of domestic small arms.
