Euroradio

On Friday, October 2, Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus Siarhei Huruliou commented on a number of media announcements about Belarusian arms shipments to Syria. According to him, neither weapons, nor military equipment of our country is delivered there. All documents are open for access, besides there is a system of export controls, said Huruliou.

Also Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee said that the news about Belarusian specialists in Syria (they supposedly service the Syrian army planes) is not reliable. Nobody sent the Belarusian specialists there, said Huruliou. He added that this requires "a special permit, including one from the head of state", BelaPAN reports.

Recently, Russian aircraft supporting the government forces and striking at terrorist positions of the ISIS and other armed groups was transferred to Syria.
