Ivan Omelchenko, who became famous due to poster "Musorok" during the "Chernobyl Way-2012", was arrested and is in court.
This was announced on his Facebook page by young activist Ales Krot.
We remind, during the extravagant press conference on July 16 Omelchenko announced his intention to run for deputy with the support of "Zmena" - the youth wing of the campaign "Tell the Truth".
Today, Ivan Omelchenko had to register his candidacy, but was arrested near his home in the morning.
Currently, the activist is in the courthouse of Leninsky District of Minsk on Semashko, 33 str. According to Ales Krot, he is charged under Article 23.4 of Administrative Code (disobeying the police). The case of Ivan is considered by judge Zapasnik.
Today in Minsk activists of "Malady Front" (Czech Republic), Roman Vasilev, Roman Protasiewicz and Vladimir Eremenok were also detained. They will be tried for allegedly using obscene language.
