The accused was offered another lawyer, but Lihavid refused because the new lawyer was not be acquainted with the case papers well enough.
The 20-year-old guy is accused of participation in mass disorders, damaging the House of the Government and armed resistance to the police.
Let us remind you that activist of the Movement "For Freedom" Mikita Lihavid was detained in Independence Square on December 19 and sentenced to 15 days of arrest in Zhodzina detention centre. However, the order was cancelled on January 23 and Mikita was accused of the mass disorders case. He was transferred to Minsk "Valadarka" from Zhodzina.
