The Tell the Truth! campaign have announced the launch of an action which aims to collect signatures for naming one of the streets in Minsk after Vasil Bykov, campaign leader Vladimir Neklyaev said today when laying flowers to the grave of the legendary writer.
The Tell the Truth! campaign plans to gather 50,000 signatures from May 9 through June 22, the same number of people who came to the funeral of Bykov. If the will of the people is ignored, the campaign will gather 100,000 signatures or even one million, Neklyaev said.
