1,066 Infected With Coronavirus, 77 Recovered Since Outbreak In Belarus

1,066 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Belarus since the outbreak, 77 people recovered. No new deaths caused by COVID-19 have been reported in the past 24 hours, according to the Healthcare Ministry.
As of 7 April, the country identified 205 new coronavirus positive cases. This is the largest increase of any single day so far.
The new cases bring the total number of positive coronavirus tests since the beginning of the outbreak to 1066. A total of 976 people remain in hospital.

Most of them have mild or moderate symptoms. 33 patients are put on a ventilator. 77 people who received treatment or were under medical surveillance recovered.
No new coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours. Earlier, the Healthcare Ministry reported that 13 people died of coronavirus COVID-19.
The portal on the situation with coronavirus in Belarus indicates which regions have the most confirmed coronavirus cases and deaths:
- In Minsk, 601 people with coronavirus are in hospital, 45 recovered, 5 died. - In the Vitebsk region, 200 people with coronavirus are in hospital 30 recovered, 5 died. - In the Minsk region, 104 people with coronavirus are in hospital, 1 recovered, 3 died. - In the Gomel region 32 people with coronavirus are in hospital, 1 recovered. - In the Mogilev region, 25 people with coronavirus are in hospital. - In the Grodno region, 11 people with coronavirus are in hospital. - In the Brest region, 3 people with coronavirus are in hospital.
Some 25,000 healthcare workers are involved in the fight against COVID-19 in Belarus. Over 7,000 hospital beds are available for coronavirus patients. As of 8 April, around 46,000 coronavirus tests were carried out in Belarus. Thirteen laboratories are involved in testing.
