700 people have been infected with COVID-19 coronavirus since the outbreak in Belarus. Out of these, 53 have recovered, 634 people remain in hospital, 13 died.
As of 6 April, 634 people are under medical surveillance in hospital, the Healthcare Ministry reports. These are mostly first level contacts of the confirmed coronavirus cases.

They were identified during the contact tracing and tested in hospital. Most patients have mild or moderate symptoms. Fifty-three patients have already recovered.
355 people who received treatment or were under medical surveillance were discharged from hospital. Belarus’ coronavirus death toll has risen to 13.
According to the ministry, the deceased had numerous chronic diseases that were aggravated by the coronavirus infection. So far over 40,000 coronavirus tests have been carried out in Belarus.
