4438 foreign nationals from 59 countries arrived in Belarus during the first month of the five-day visa-free regime in force since February 12, 2017, BELTA news agency reports quoting State Border Control Committee spokesman Anton Bychkousi.
Germans accounted for the majority of visa-free visitors - 710 persons. Poland is No 2 with 548, Italy - third with 479 travelers. There were 250 visitors from France and 247 from the UK. There were also nationals from such countries as Uruguay, Panama, Namibia, Andorra, Malaysia.
All in all, almost 10500 people from 80 countries visited Belarus over the past month. Some of them had obtained Belarus visas for various reasons: either they had received it before the visa-free regime was enforced or they planned to stay more than five days in our country.
7890 people visited Belarus in the same period in 2016.
