The majority of people who used the chance to visit Belarus without a visa in the first two days of the visa-free regime were Germans and Italians, the State Border Control Committee told BELTA news agency.
As of 6 p.m. on February 13, 218 people arrived in Belarus without a visa. Most of them were Germans – 43 visitors. Italians guests were in the second place – 32. 16 people came from the UK and 16 the Netherlands and 14 tourists arrived from Poland.
The Belarusian visa-free regime came into force for citizens of 80 countries on February 12. Foreign guests can spend up to 5 days without a visa in Belarus if they arrive at and depart from Minsk international airport also kwnon as the National Airport Minsk.
