Starting November 25, 2016 visa-free entry will be operating between Belarus and Brazil.

The information was posted on the official Facebook page of the Brazilian Embassy in Minsk.

Visa-free travel will apply to tourist trips of up to 90 days. Visitors will be able to make two such trips during the year.

Belarus continues steps in facilitating visa procedures for foreign tourists. In April it granted visa free entry for citizens of the UAE; in August to Chinese tourists arriving in groups.

In October, the Augustow Canal park in Hrodna region became visa-free for visits lasting up to 5 days. Last month Belarus also signed an intergovernmental agreement on visa-free travel for citizens with Argentina.

Visa facilitation talks with the EU are in progress.
