The co-chairs of the campaign "For Fair Elections", the leader of the Left Party "A Just World" Sergei Kalyakin and the activist of the movement "For Freedom" Viktor Kornienko found the opportunity to go to Vilnius, the website ucpb.org informs.
As UDF.BY reported earlier, on Saturday evening, the chairman of the Party "A Just World" Sergei Kalyakin and the coordinator of the campaign "For Fair Elections" Viktor Kornienko, who were traveling to Vilnius for a business meeting, were turned back at the border checkpoint "Kammeny log".
As in the case of the United Civil Party leader Anatoly Lebedko, who was also banned to go abroad, border guards didn't name the reasons for the ban on leaving the country.
Nevertheless, all the politicians appeared in Vilnius on March 11, where there was a meeting of leaders and representatives of political structures. At the event the organization of monitoring the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives was discussed.
The meeting was also attended by the BPF leader Aleksey Yanukevich and by the former presidential candidate Grigory Kostusev, representatives of the movement "For Freedom" Yuri Gubarevich and Aleksey Kovalets. Representatives of the movement "Tell the truth!" and of the "Belarusian Christian Democracy" took part there also.
