Alyaksandr Lukashenka said that he was offered to support the creation of the Ministry of Digital Economy. The head of Belarus said this on March 20 at a meeting with creative youth, belta.by reports.
“Most likely, I will support this decision,” Lukashenka said.
In late 2017, Alyaksandr Lukashenka signed a decree “On the development of the digital economy.” The document simplifies the work of and introduces benefits for residents of the High-Tech Park (HTP), as well as regulates issues with the turnover of crypto-currencies.
Lukashenka called the signing the Decree on HTP an example of “creative risk” in his work.
“A politician must always have such an element of creative risk,” said the head of Belarus.
