The joint press conference by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Witold Waszczykowski and his Belarusian counterpart Uladzimir Makei took place on 22 March.

Waszczykowski said that the new government of Poland, which takes its roots from the "Solidarity" movement considers the human rights issue important. But everything happens gradually, the diplomat said, so Poland will not fast-track on this issue.

The Polish Minister was asked a question if he had raised the issue of the accreditation of the TV channel "Belsat" broadcasting from Poland. It was on March 21 March that "Belsat" applied for registration in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the fourth time. Waszczykowski said that the discussion of this issue is yet to come.

On Wednesday, 23 March, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland will meet with Aliaksandr Lukashenka.
