Activist Aleh Korban has been released from a police station.
He wrote it on Facebook.
“I spent four hours at a police station and was allowed to go home. They were to send me to the detention facility [in Akrestsin Street] because I must serve 10 days in custody, but it turned out that there are no vacant cells in the centre. The officer on duty said I should wait for a signal from a district police officer soon. So, I am going home,” Aleh Korban wrote.
The activist was detained on December 11. He was sentenced to 10 days in custody for hanging out a white-red-white flag in Dziarzhynsk.
