Activist Ales Kurets was released after 15 days in custody. About 2o friends came to meet him near the detention centre. They planned to organise a sort of a flashmob, but the activist had been released earlier, so they went to his home, Nasha Niva reports.

Ales Kurets complained about lack of “yard time” and bad food in the detention centre. He does powerlifting exercises and usualy have eight meals a days.

Kurets was in the cell with citizen of Kongo Patrick Mangalua, who has been in the detention centre for six months.

Kurets spent the last five days in the cell with five inmates, two of which had hepatitis C.
