- Our activist, former candidate for municipal council Leanid Dubanosau has been taken by police, - the leader of the organizations of the Belarusian Independent Trade Union at the Granit enterprise Aleh Stakhajevich told Salidarnasc. – He lives in a private house, finishing constructing it. He was taken straight from home in working clothes.
Leanid Dubanosau’s wife witnessed the detention and reported that her husband was grabbed and brutally pushed into the police car.
He managed to make a call from the car and tell that he was detained by a policeman in mufti and a police mayor for allegedly using foul language in public, - Aleh Stakhajevich continues.
At Mikashevichy police department they claim that Leanid Dubanosau was detained by the criminal investigations department.
- We do not have him here, he was detained by criminal police, - the aide to the on-duty officer said.
