In Minsk, on April 11 on the anniversary of the bombing at the entrance to the metro station "Oktiabrskaya" the memorial with the names of 15 victims of the explosion was set up.
A few hundred people came to the memorial's opening. The entrance to the monument was surrounded by riot police: only those who had the special invitation were allowed to pass. Head of Minsk city executive committee Nikolai Ladutko opened the memorial, after the speech, the victims' families were allowed to lay flowers and light candles.
When Ladutko and relatives of the dead gone, the monument became open to the rest of the participants, who also wanted to honor the victims of the attack. In addition, youth activists of opposition parties and movements came to the memorial, they have called the day before to bring flowers and candles on the place of tragedy.
