BelTA's photo exhibition on migrant crisis opens in Brest
BelTA's photo exhibition "The Border Between Life and Death" has opened at Brest-Tsentralny railway station, BelTA has learned.

The exposition features more than a hundred pictures which reflect the pain and tragedy of the migrant crisis that broke out two years ago on the Belarusian-Polish border.

The exhibition might be divided into several parts. A selection of photographs with the telling title "A Day in the Life of a Refugee Camp" shows the conditions in which the destitute people had to live for months. A large section is devoted to children. Some pictures have a cautionary note "18+" and depict the bodies of refugees found on the Belarusian side of the border.

The exhibition at Brest-Tsentralny railway station will stay open until 17 April. The project is supported by the "Sistemnaya Pravozaschita" ["Systemic Human Rights Protection"] center. The exhibition has already been displayed in the Mikhail Savitsky Art Gallery, Minsk railway station and Minsk National Airport.
