Helicopter of the State Border Committee crashed in Postavy region. Five people died

On October 20 around 15.45 in the village Vileyty of Pastavy district about a kilometer away from the Belarusian-Lithuanian border, the helicopter (Eurocopter) of the State Border Committee of Belarus crashed.
As the spokesman of the border department Alexander Tishchenko told BelaPAN, on board were two helicopter's crew members and the film crew of Television and Radio Broadcast Organization "Soyuz" (Union), five people in total. Alexander Tishchenko named the dead journalists: Julia Shatyrnik, Vitaly Prachkovsky and Sergey Shamalov.
The helicopter crashed and caught fire. All aboard people were killed. "Eurocopter" carried out the planned flight on protection of the state border.
The special commission to investigate the catastrophe was created. The specialists from police work at the crash site.
State Border Committee expressed its condolences to the bereaved families.
