Accused in the terrorist act refused to testify in court

Dmitry Konovalov refused today to testify at the the trial of the terrorist attack in the Minsk metro, BelTA informs.
Konovalov told the judge: "I refuse to give evidence". When he was asked about the reasons for such behavior, he replied: "I'm using my right".
The judge Alexander Fedortsov, asking opinions of the parties, announced, in that case today would be proclaimed the testimony that Konovalov had given at the preliminary investigation. The text of April 12 interrogation was proclaimed. It is clear from the text, that Dmitry Konovalov confessed to the terrorist attacks on April 11, 2011 and on the night of 3 to 4 July 2008 in Minsk. He said that the information needed to create the latest bomb, he learned in the Internet, and the components he bought in a shop and in the market in Vitebsk. His testimony in this interrogation confirmed the version of prosecution.
Now in the court they are showing the video recording of the interrogation. In this video Konovalov sits almost motionless and hunched. Often looks at the floor.
