The editorial board of Narodnaya Volia should pay 14 million belarusian rubles to the government - that's how enacted the Supreme Economic Court.
The editorial board is not going to appeal the verdict.
The lawyer Harry Pogonyailo commented on today's legal process: "The same penalty as that of "Nasha Niva". Also, instead of 500 minimal wages - 400. I don't find a sense to appeal the verdict: it is a mere formality. The Supreme Court will simply review the case and will not change anything. The reasons for the fine are formal too, so we can argue that the state introduced economical sanctions against us. As we can see, the interdependent media replenish the budget by 14 million each."
