Criminal proceedings have been instituted against three people suspected of insulting a deceased police officer, the interior ministry reported on Friday.
The three people – a 37-year-old Minsk man, a 63-year-old woman resident in Smarhoń, Hrodna region, and a 49-year-old Viciebsk man – are alleged to have posted “offensive” comments under a news story about the death of an officer of the Mahilioŭ police department.
