Minsk Airport Will Use Robot To Check Arrivals’ Body Temperature

Minsk National Airport will use a robot for temperature screening, the Telegram channel of the Healthcare Ministry reports.
Many countries are now watching arriving and departing air passengers who might suffer from the viral COVID-19 disease. Belarus is one of them too. Besides putting those who have recently been in outbreak hot spots under quarantine, the arrivals will now be scanned for fever.
International Intelligent Machines has given the Healthcare Ministry a robot IIM Ego for remote body temperature check. A resident company of the China-Belarus Great Stone Industrial Park has also provided a LCD screen to read the data processed by the robot.
A similar robot was reportedly used in China during the coronavirus outbreak. The company that operates both in Belarus and China will set up the machine and provide maintenance services.
