Minsk Ranked 3rd Most European Romantic City Along With Paris And Prague
Minsk has made it to the top three most romantic cities in Europe popular among couples for weekend trips, the Russian tourist portal TourStat reports.
The top ten also includes St. Petersburg, Paris, Kaliningrad, Prague, Yekaterinburg, Amsterdam, Baku, Yerevan, and Tallinn.

The ranking timed to St. Valentine’s Day is based on an online survey of more than five thousand TourStat visitors conducted in February 2020.

“The Russians cast 23% of the votes for St. Petersburg and Paris as the most romantic cities in Europe. Kaliningrad and Minsk gained 8% of the vote, Prague – 7%, Yekaterinburg, Amsterdam, Baku and Yerevan shared 5% and Tallinn – 3%,” the agency said.

Recall that Minsk is a frequent visitor of various rankings. Last time we checked, it was named one of the most boring European cities along with Helsinki, Munich, Warsaw and others. On the other hand, it was ranked high among the cities in Europe for IT startups.
