The period of stay of foreign nationals in Belarus has been extended to 90 days, the press secretary of the Minsitry of Internal Affairs reports.

And if necessary, beyond this period.

A foreign national should apply to the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Belarusian Internal Affairs Ministry at the place of stay (registration) to extend the period.

The period of can als0 be extended at Minsk National Airport. The procedure can be accomplished, for instance, if a foreign national finds out that his/her flight is canceled upon arrival at the airport.

Recall that in July 2018, the visa-free period of stay for foreigners coming to Belarus via Minsk airport was extended to 30 days.

For citizens of countries with which Belarus has a visa-free regime, the permitted period of stay, if registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is up to 90 days a year.

Meanwhile, Belavia Belarusian Airlines suspended or canceled flights to over 20 countries in Europe and Asia because of coronavirus outbreak.
