Belarus bans Die Antwoord concert

Ideologues from the Minsk City administration have not allowed a concert by South African hip-hop band Die Antwoord, citing 'low artistic level' of the musicians, reports Onliner.by.
When the organizers submitted the first application, the authorities were not happy with the 16+ age restriction. When the age restriction was replaced with 18+ in the second appplication, they were not happy again. The official reply signed by Minsk City administration's chief ideologue Pavel Skalaban, said the concert application was rejected under Artciel 2015 (1.3) in the Culture Code. This paragraph very well known by Belarusian often blacklisted band Dzieciuki sets out as follows:
"The application was rejected due to low artistic level."
