Svyatlana Aleksiyevich (Svetlana Alexievich), the winner of the 2015 Nobel Prize for Literature, on Thursday attended a launch event for a collection of her interviews and speeches given to the Belarusian Service of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
The event took place at the smaller of the two concert halls inside the Palace of the Republic in.
Ms. Aleksiyevich answered a variety of questions from the audience. It was the writer's first lengthy meeting with readers since she won the Nobel Prize in late 2015.
