The National Statistical Committee of Belarus claims that domestic tourism continues to develop and attracts an increasing number of visitors.
There is near 300 thousand of organised tourists and excursionists who visited Belarus in 2015.
The main number of organised visits is from Russia, Belstat informs.
Among the non-CIS countries, the largest number of visitors came to Belarus from Germany, China, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, France, and Estonia.
The average duration of stay of foreign tourists in Belarus in 2015 was 5 days (in 2014 was 4 days).
According to Belstat, domestic tourism continues to develop and attracts an increasing number of visitors. In 2015 the number of organised tourists inside the country were 91.5 thousand persons (in 2014 it was 56.2 thousand organised tourists).
