During the three months of this year the number of Belarusian tourists in Lithuania increased by 10%.
This is said by the State Department of Tourism Development Division Head of the Ministry of Economy of Lithuania Rasuole Andruliene.
During the first quarter of the year Lithuania was visited by almost half a million (468,800 people) tourists – it is by 12.2% more than in the same period last year.
Tourists from Belarus, Russia, Latvia and Poland make up about half of the tourist market of Lithuania. During the first three months of the year, number of visitors to Lithuania from Belarus increased by 10.6% compared to the first quarter last year.
