About 2 thousand of the unemployed Minsk dwellers have been involved in community service since early 2015.
Residents of the city worked off their mere pittance at more than 100 enterprises of the city: housing services and utilities, shopping facilities and public health institutions. As a rule, they swept yards, and were involved in landscaping. More than 150 people were clearing fields on farms in Minsk region.
Tamara Ausievich, responsible for employment issues and social protection of Mingorispolkom, informed Minsk-News.
8-10 people unemployed are daily involved in work at the Minsk zoo. They are paid by cash one or two weeks after the work. It is Br200-220 thousands for 2 days (or less than Br2.5 mln. per month).
