The Crimean Supreme Council worked in the building seized by armed militants on February 27.

Anatoli Mogilyov’s government was dismissed. Sergei Aksyonov, leader of the Russian National Unity, was appointed to his position. 53 MPs out of 100 supported him. The government will be created on Friday, RIA Novosti reports.

The Crimean Parliament appointed a referendum on expanding the authorities of the autonomy on May 25. People will be asked the following question: “Do you support Crimea’s sovereignty based on agreements and treaties as part of Ukraine?”

There could be no quorum during the today’s session, Ukrainian mass media report. However, it is impossible to check the fact because the attackers did not let journalists enter the building.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian authorities are trying to settle the Crimean conflict peacefully.
