Imprisoned head of Viasna human rights centre Ales Byalyatski works as a packer of shoulder marks for police uniform in a penal colony in Babruisk.
Human rights activist Tatyana Ravyaka shared the news on Facebook.
We remind, human rights activist Ales Byalyatski was sentenced to 4.5 years in a medium security penal colony and confiscation of property in November 2011. He was accused of a failure to pay taxes on money on his foreign bank accounts. In real case, he spent this money on human rights activity. The EU, the US and human rights groups consider him a political prisoner and demand to release him immediately.
