BCD party sent 14 request for premises to hold congress

The organizing committee for creation of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party has sent 14 applications for premises to hold on December 17 the founding congress of the party.

The applications were sent to various cultural and public institutions of Minsk, which have sufficient premises to hold the congress.

"In the coming weeks we expect a response. Given the experience of the previous three registration attempts, if for the first time we are denied the premises, and then the next day we are told that the same premises are free, it can be argued that this decision will be political", said the executive secretary of the BCD organizing committee Denis Sadovski, according to the press service of BCD.

"However, if they do not give premises for the congress, it will take place anyway and will be held in Minsk", Sadovski said.
