Belarus’ KGB captures Ukrainian spy in Mogilev Oblast

Officers of Belarus’ State Security Committee (KGB) apprehended an agent of Ukrainian security agencies in Mogilev Oblast, BelTA learned from the TV channel Belarus Four Mogilev.
According to the source, the KGB officers apprehended the Belarusian citizen Pavel Churkin, who is an agent of the Central Intelligence Office of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry and had been operating under the callsign Blade.
Pavel Churkin confessed he had been instructed by the Ukrainian military intelligence service to take photos of the deployment of a short-range ballistic missile system Iskander. The agent was supposed to pass on the photos to Ukraine later on and receive a corridor for exfiltration to Ukraine.
Apart from that, the agent has been previously convicted of offending the Belarus president.
