Alyaksandr Lukashenka has spoken in support of the Ukrainian government at the Council of CIS summit in Ashkhabad, BELTA reports.
"Speaking about the new government in Ukraine, I would like to urge you to support this power. The tendency to overthrow it and to put an end to it can already be observed. However, we should understand who will come to power in Ukraine if it happens,” the Belarusian leader announced.
Lukashenka urged to support Uladzimir Zelenski when speaking to Europe’s representatives at the forum Minsk Dialogue on October 8. “Certain forces are making use of this process to exercise tension on the new government and President. And Europe is keeping silent!” the Belarusian President expressed his indignation.
