Lukashenka embraces wife of Putin’s press secretary in Moscow (photo fact)

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović was not the only lady who Belarusian President Aliaksandr Lukashenka embraced after the FIFA World Cup final in Moscow. Tatiana Navka, former figure skater and the wife of Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov, also received a hug. She uploaded the photo on Instagram. “I represented Belarus at two Olympics,” she wrote. “We are good old friends with Alyaksandr Ryhoravich!!! We met at the football match yesterday and he embraced me!! I was very happy to meet him!!!”
Tatiana Navka is 43 years old. She was born in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. She represented Belarus after the collapse of the Soviet Union until 1998 when she changed her citizenship to Russian. She became a two-time world champion, three-time European champion and Olympic champion after that. Navka and Peskov married three years ago.
