The police will not confiscate Belarusian national white-red-white flags and Pahonia coats-of-arms from the people who will come to attend the festive rally and concert in Minsk. Only the posters with slogans not relevant to the theme of the festivities - 100 years of Belarusian People's Republic may be restricted, Yury Hubarevich, leader of the Movement for Freedom and one of the co-applicants of the festivities said during a live show on Euroradio. On Monday, he was invited to the Minsk City police headquarters to discuss security measures during the rally and the concert authorized to take place from 2 p.m. till 7 p.m. in front of the Opera and Ballet Theater in Minsk. According to Hubarevich, the police assured him that crowd control would be standard just like at any other mass event.
