MIA: agreement between Belarus and EU on readmission fully harmonized

Head of the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Interior Ministry Alyaksei Byahun has said that a draft agreement between Belarus and the EU on readmission had been fully agreed on and is in a high degree of readiness for further consultation and subsequent signing.
The visit of the EU delegates, according to Byahun, would, most likely take place next year.
“The day after tomorrow, we will have the relevant consultations between Belarus and the EU, where the question will also, I think, be included in the agenda,” said the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
He also said that they expect visit of the EU experts delegation to discuss the draft of the final agreement on the facilitation of “visa formalities”.
“There are some inconsistencies,” said Mr Byahun.
