Vyachasau Siuchyk released after 15-day arrest and hunger strike

Opposition activist Vyachaslau Siuchyk has been released from the detention centre in Akreststina Street. He has served a 15-day sentence there. Siuchyk was on hunger strike the whole time in protest against the prison conditions in Akrestsina Street.

The prison administration never allowed the oppositionist’s lawyer to visit him even once.

Siuchyk was detained after a protest in Barysau on May 3.
