Mahilyou authorities forbid ‘Non-freeloaders’ March’
Mahilyou city authorities have refused the city democratic coalition’s application for the Non-Freeloaders’ March appointed for February 19, the BCD press service reports.

The place was not on the list of places meant for mass actions in Mahilyou, officials replied.

The stadium DK Kuibyshava situated in the outskirts of the city is usually used for mass events in Mahilyou. But the activists wanted to conduct the march in the city centre.

The democratic activists are not going to refuse from the action. They are going to walk across the city instead of conducting the Non-Freeloaders’ March.

Actions in protests against ‘the freeloaders’ tax’ will also be conducted in Minsk. Oppositionists are going to organize the March of Angry Belarusians on February 17. Other oppositionists are planning to conduct the Non-Freeloaders’ March on March 15.
