The 38th Guards Air Assault Brigade (Belarus) and the soldiers of the 98th Guards Airborne Division (Russia) are taking part in a war game not far from the Belarusian city of Brest.
Since Monday the paratroopers have been at a training ground. The participants are expected to exercise combat jumps, including those at night, a local newspaper reports.
Meanwhile, in Russia’s Ryazan, Belarusian troops from the 103rd Separate Guards Airborne Brigade (Vitsebsk) are participating in a military exercise shoulder to shoulder with their Russian counterparts.
According to Belarusian Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makey, scenarios of attacks on the neighboring Western states are never rehearsed during joint Belarus-Russia war games.
