It is expected that the Belarusian embassy in Madrid will open in December 2016.
The statement was made by the Ambassador of Belarus to France with concurrent accreditation to Spain Pavel Latushko at a meeting with Spain’s King Felipe VI.

Pavel Latushko attended a state reception on behalf of the King of Spain to mark the national holiday of the country. The Belarusian diplomat conveyed the congratulations of behalf of Belarus President on the occasion of the holiday.
“Pavel Latushko apprised the King of Spain of the plans to open the Embassy of Belarus in Madrid in December 2016”, the embassy of Belarus is quoted by BelTA.
The King of Spain stressed for his part that Belarus’ decision is an important foreign political step that will promote bilateral cooperation.
