Belarus has established diplomatic relations with the Principality of Monaco. On April 15, a joint communique on establishing diplomatic relations was signed at the Belarus Embassy in France. As BelaPAN informs, on behalf of the Belarusian government the document was signed by ambassador to France Pavel Latushka, on behalf of the Monaco Government - the ambassador of this country in France Claude Cottalorda.
It is noted that the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Monaco will contribute to the development of bilateral relations in all areas of cooperation. Monaco became the 175th state with which Belarus has established diplomatic relations (corresponding decree was signed by Lukashenka on March 30).
Principality of Monaco is a small country, located on the shores of the Ligurian Sea and borders with France. Two years ago, the population of Monaco was almost 38 thousand people.
