Alyaksandr Lukashenka has officially appointed the date of the parliamentary election in Belarus, BELTA reports.
According to the President’s order #190 of June 6, the parliamentary election will be held on September 11, 2016. The election to the Council of the Republic will be held on June 18 – September 18, 2016.
The Central Election Commission will be responsible for the organization of the election and legislative control. The Council of Ministers will finance the campaign using money from the republican budget.
