Lukashenka to meet with Indian President in Minsk

Pranab Mukherjee has arrived in our country with a three-day visit.

The Indian President’s first official visit to our country has begun. Pranab Mukherjee arrived at the National Airport Minsk on the evening of June 2. He was met by Foreign Minister Uladzimir Makei and deputy PM Uladzimir Syamashka.

The Indian President will stay in Belarus until Thursday. He will meet with Alyaksandr Lukashenka today. Pranab Mukherjee is planning to meet PM Andrei Kabyakou and the heads of both chambers of the National Assembly. Lukashenka and the Indian President will take part in the opening ceremony of the Belarusian-Indian Business Forum at the National Library on June 4.

The Indian President met with a road accident in Sweden before his visit to Belarus. Six people were taken to hospital. Mukherjee was not injured.
