Slovenian Foreign Minister Samuel Zbogar plans to visit Minsk in June to take part in the opening ceremony for a Council of Europe information office, according to the CoE website.
Slovenia will chair the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers between May 12 and November 12.
The CoE information office will be located at Belarusian State University.
At their meeting to be held in Madrid on May 12, the foreign ministers of the 47 Council of Europe member states are expected to discuss the state of democracy in Belarus among other issues.
