The state leader mentioned the value of the Russian language in his message to the Belarusian people and National Assembly.
Nobody exercises pressure on Russians and the Russian language in Belarus, he stressed. “Probably, Russians are exercising pressure on themselves in Belarus,” Lukashenka noted.
Belarusians ‘are not pro-Russia, pro-Ukraine or pro-Poland – they are pro-Belarus’, Alyaksandr Lukashenka stressed. “We are the children of Belarus,” he said.
"If we lose Russian, we will go mad. If we forget Belarusian, we will stop being a nation,” Lukashenka said.
