77.05% or 5 333 613 people voted during the local elections in Belarus, the Central Election Commission announced on 19 February. The turnout was almost the same - 77.4% 4 years ago (in March 2014). The early voting turnout numbers are slightly different: 34.95% in 2017 against 32.04% in 2014.
Viciebsk Region has set a record turnout this year– 84.49%. The turnout in Minsk was is 61.41%.
