Belarusian taekwondo fighter Arman-Marshall Silla who is suspected of using meldonium will not perform at Olympic Games in Brazil.

Arman Marshall Silla will be suspended from participating in any competition until the investigation into his case is over, Belarus’ National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) reports.

On August 14, Belarusian taekwondo fighter Arman Marshall Silla and his coach Yuliya Sukhavitskaya passed a lie-detector test after meldonium was found in the athlete’s blood.

“Silla and his personal trainer passed a lie-detector test – there is no information about using any doping in their memories,” Andrey Chuchval, the deputy chairman of the Belarusian Federation of Taekwondo, said.

The leadership of the Belarusian Federation of Taekwondo not only immediately found the athlete innocent, but also hinted at the intrigues of domestic ‘detractors’ who allegedly decided to prevent him from going to Rio taekvandysty trip to the Olympics.
