The leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka found a listening device in the napkin holder in one of the Minsk cafes. This opposition politician wrote on his Facebook page:
"Today, I agreed to meet with Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu and Mikalai Statkevich. On the phone. "At the old place," said I without indication of coordinates and names. I came 10 minutes before the meeting. Just as I sat down - the bartender peeped in, and immediately there was a waitress who picked up a napkin holder and replaced it. I noticed that they differed. I twsted it in my hands and suddenly the lower part came off. And then ... there was the listening device. Hello, comrade General. Yes, the presidential campaign is still going on! It is strange to see this behavior from the people whose employer allegedly had more than 80% of the votes."
Liabedzka attached a photo of the device. The reaction of the restaurants' administration to the find and the outcome of the story are not yet known, as none of these opposition politicians have answered calls.
